This book is primarily meant as course-ware for students taking the Institute’s Certificate in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The book is made up of 8 chapters and covers all aspects starting from setting up an SME, legal and regulatory aspects, the financing options and modes available for SMEs to their future in India.
The book, while primarily focused on SMEs in India also gives examples from around the world for a better understanding of the sector and its constraints. It also gives an international perspective on the business of small and medium enterprises.
Though the book is meant as course-ware for the Institute’s Certificate course, the book would be useful to anybody interested in SMEs in India.
